Ardents
Terms of Service
The rules governing access to and use of Ardents.
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Scope
These Terms govern access to and use of Ardents. By using the service, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If mandatory consumer or user rights apply to you under the law that governs your use of the service, those rights are not limited by these Terms.
Eligibility and account access
- You must provide accurate account information when creating or maintaining an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and account access methods secure.
- You may not use another person's account without permission.
Acceptable use
You may not use Ardents to publish, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available content that:
- is illegal under applicable law;
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- contains malware, malicious code, or attempts to interfere with service security;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonates another person or entity in a misleading way; or
- is used to disrupt the service, scrape the service abusively, or bypass technical restrictions.
Your content
You retain your rights in content you lawfully submit to Ardents. By submitting content, you grant the operator a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content to the extent necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content and to grant that operational licence.
Moderation and service enforcement
The operator may investigate content or conduct that appears to violate these Terms, applicable law, or the security of the service. Measures may include limiting visibility, removing content, restricting functionality, suspending access, or terminating accounts where justified.
Where platform rules require it, the operator will provide a statement of reasons for relevant content or account restrictions, except where an exception permitted by law applies.
Illegal content notices
The operator makes available a contact path for notices concerning allegedly illegal content. A notice should identify the specific content, explain why it is alleged to be illegal, and provide enough information for the operator to assess the report.
Submitting a notice does not guarantee removal, but notices are handled diligently, non-arbitrarily, and in line with applicable law.
Availability and changes
The service may change, be updated, or be interrupted from time to time. The operator does not guarantee that every feature will remain continuously available. Planned material changes to these Terms will be published in advance where reasonably possible.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, the service is provided on an as-available basis, and the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Suspension, termination, and closure
You may stop using the service at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate access where this is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, enforcement of these Terms, or protection of other users and the service.
Governing law and mandatory rights
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the law designated by the operator, unless mandatory law in your country of residence applies and gives you stronger protection. You keep the benefit of any mandatory rights granted by the law that applies to you.
